Key Takeaways
  • AI builder and Creator Studio updates focus on better merchant control, not more output volume
  • POS and checkout improvements are designed for the operational realities of MENA retail
  • All updates are available to active Axisel merchants within their current plan

Spring 2026 was focused on three things: making the tools merchants already have sharper, improving the connection between online and in-store operations, and reducing the manual steps that slow down day-to-day commerce. Here is what changed and what it means for your store.

AI Website Builder

The AI builder now generates more specific starting points based on business type and product category — so a fashion merchant's scaffolding looks and reads differently from an electronics store's. Section generation is faster, and AI credit usage is now visible in real time so merchants can see exactly how credits are being applied before confirming a generation step.

Creator Studio

Creator Studio image generation now supports a broader range of product photography contexts and background options. Plan-based allowances remain in place, and add-on packs are available for merchants who need higher volume during campaign periods. Generation quality has improved particularly for products with complex textures and reflective surfaces.

POS and in-store operations

The POS interface has been updated to load product catalogs faster at high SKU counts and to make cash-on-delivery and split-payment flows clearer for retail staff. Inventory sync between in-store and online is now faster, reducing the window where an item can show as available online while sold out at the counter.

Checkout

Checkout now surfaces delivery zone availability earlier in the flow, reducing the rate at which customers reach the final step and discover their address is outside the delivery area. COD confirmation messaging has been updated to be clearer about what happens next — reducing the post-order confusion that leads to cancellation requests.

What's coming next

The next cycle is focused on analytics — specifically on making per-product and per-channel performance visible without requiring an export to spreadsheet. We are also working on improvements to the support and onboarding workflows for merchants who are setting up their store for the first time. Updates ship as they are ready — no artificial release cycles.

Why a Beautiful Website Still Loses Sales

A strong design can attract attention, but sales depend on structure, trust, checkout clarity, product content, payment options, and delivery confidence.

The commerce foundation that actually scales.

Most retailers outgrow their stack in year two. The ones who don't made three decisions early — and none of them were about features.
